WHAT'S ON D a w n H o - An evening of Jazz & Bossa Tuesday 9th June 09 from 7:30 pm onwards Possessing a commanding voice, a distinctive melodic sensibility and an uncanny knack for nailing complex emotions in song, Dawn makes music that is both illuminating and effortlessly accessible... A jazz singer hailing from Singapore, who has also performed in Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong, began her informal training in singing at the tender age of 8 with The Amazing Grace Presbyterian church choir in Singapore. Her unique vocal timbre makes her a natural in doing jazz / bossa novas & sambas. |
Her music is described as sophisticated, elegant and vibrant. After 10 years of training and performing the classical and choral genre, Dawn decided to follow her passion for jazz.She is currently touring Asia to promote her album this year .... "All In Good Time". This performance will be accompanied by Jazz Cafe's fabulous in house jazz fusion outfit, Ito Kurdi Trio. Rp 25,000/pax entrance fee or **free for dining guests**. |
